Green Salad With A Twist
This simple, but classy green salad recipe will complement any meal. The herbs and mustard dressing give it a great twist from your ordinary green salad. This is another recipe I picked up in France, where we used to eat the salad just after the main meal. Now I serve this salad along side, meat, pastas, pizza, anything goes...
Serves 4-6
Ingredients
3 cups of mescalin lettuce
2 Table spoons chopped chives
2 table spoons chopped parsley
1 Table spoon Dijon mustard
3 Table spoons olive oil
1Table spoon white wine vinegar
salt and pepper
Directions
In a large salad bowl place the lettuce, chopped chives and parsley.
In a spate container mix together the olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper until well combined.
Pour over the top of the salad greens and serve straight away.
